Welcome To WAC Wild Photo Safaris

We are a family-run Namibian-based photographic safari company that specializes in personalized small group safaris and tours. We focus on connecting you directly to the African wildlife experience that we love, in carefully selected landscapes - either to photograph, to learn more about the wildlife or just to be.

Your guide, Wynne Cilliers, was born in Etosha National Park where his father was a warden. His Hei/omn San playmates shared with him their intimate knowledge of the wildlife and how to survive in the bush. This passion for the African wilderness and a love of photography led Wayne and his wife Bianca, to start WAC Wild Photo Safaris.

Join him as he shows you those iconic sights Namibia is famous for; the Namib desert, the world’s oldest with the largest dunes, desert-adapted elephants as they meander down dry-river beds and lion that roam the beaches of the Skeleton coast from the world’s second-largest canyon in the south to the open plains of Etosha National Park where abundant herds of plains animal’s graze. Wynne will share his stories on tour and find the moments for you to photograph.

Tours can be planned to accommodate your interests  – be they the national parks, such as the famous Etosha National Park and conservancies in eastern and northeastern Namibia along the Okavango, Zambezi and Chobe rivers, or into neighbouring Botswana. Bush lodges are carefully selected for their authenticity and African hospitality – and we will find the right one to suit your budget.

Whether you are a professional or amateur photographer, our aim is to help you capture that magical moment on camera and to create memories of a lifetime.

"It's all about understanding your subjects boundaries and body language. If you master this you can achieve anything when it comes to wildlife photography." -

Wynne Cilliers
